CALYPSO
CALYPSO is a small library that allows to included the luminosity spectra
calculated with GUINEA-PIG into event generators. After initialisation each
call to a routine CALYP returns the energies of two colliding particles.
All the correlations are properly taken into account. The only drawback is
that a large input file is need for each collider configuration.
In order to use CALYPSO, you need
to download the library, maybe the documentation, and the input files.
Also a small program exists that can generate the electron-positron,
electron-photon, photon-positron and photon-photon collisions
at CLIC with Ecm = 3 TeV and nominal parameters. It uses
fits to the CALYPSO data. This program does not need any input files.
You can download it here. You have to compile and link
it to the CERN library. It will later become part of the calypso library.
The Library
The CALYPSO library can be downloaded here.
The file needs to be gunzip-ped and then un-tar-red using
gunzip clypso.tar.gz
tar -xf calypso.tar
It can then be compiled by
make all
The Documentation
A very rough introduction can be found here
The Input Files
The luminosity file can be found
here
for the latest CLIC parameters at 3TeV in 2008.
The old input files that are necessary to use CALYPSO can be found here.
